I have been working in childcare since 1989. I began my career as a nanny after leaving college and later became a childminder when I had children of my own. As my children began their early learning, I furthered my education and moved into Pre-schools, working my way from practitioner to Leader. I now hold a BA Degree in Early Years and am an Early Years Professional. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep passion for supporting children’s mental and emotional wellbeing, recognising that this is the foundation for all learning and development. I believe that when children feel secure, valued, and understood, they are able to flourish academically, socially, and creatively. This belief is at the forefront of my approach, shaping every aspect of our nursery environment and curriculum. I find great joy and fulfilment in helping children grow in confidence, resilience, and self-belief during these vital early years. My vision for our nursery is to ensure that every child feels emotionally supported, mentally nurtured, and inspired to reach their full potential. I am fortunate to work with a strong, highly qualified team whose warmth, experience, and dedication create a safe, welcoming space where every child’s wellbeing is prioritised and celebrated.
