My name is Shayqul Islam, and I am the Deputy Manager and SENDCo at Chestnut Nursery School Dorothy Barley. Since becoming a father, supporting children has become an even greater priority for me. I began my journey in early years childcare in 2010, and over the years I have had the wonderful privilege of engaging with and supporting children from birth to five years old. There is truly no better feeling than seeing the children in our care reach their individual milestones and blossom into confident, curious explorers. I am inspired every day by their inquisitive nature and the joy they find in learning new skills. I am deeply passionate about ensuring that every child who comes through our doors at Chestnut Nursery School Dorothy Barley feels safe, happy and loved. As SENDCo, I am committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child, regardless of their starting point, receives the encouragement and support they need to thrive and prepare confidently for the next stage of their development.
