The children at Chestnut Nursery School Cottenham took a walk into the village to lay their remembrance poppies on the war memorial. We spoke to the children about remembering the brave soldiers and animals that gave their lives to protect their country. Today, we remember them all.
 
A poem for the fallen, written by Laurence Binyon:
 
"They shall not grow old,
As we are left to grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning, we will remember them."
