At Chestnut Nursery School Greatfields, The Jay Room children have celebrating Black History Month, as we have been reading the ‘My First Heroes - Black History’ book.
 
The story was brought to life through a range of activities. We created our own traffic lights inspired by Garrett Morgan, explored music with different rhythms, explored different skin-toned playdough while looking in the mirror, and even went on an exciting African animal safari!
